This book is a result of a fly fishing trip into the Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho where I witnessed my first dragonfly hatch. I was awe struck by this marvel of nature. Being a fly tyer and amatuer entomologist, I have witnessed many hatches involving other aquatic insects. I would like to bring some of these marvels of nature to young children so they can begin to develop an awe and appreciation for the fabric of life that sustains all of us.
